Week 1

 The end of my week one is done and im alive! its been a TON of fun! i have the next 2 days off but poor Brandon has been working omelet station at 6 am. Anyway, this is what ive been up to:

These are the tropical shrimp cocktails i made yesterday. I had to do about 500 and im SO over shrimp now. Theres a pineapple salsa cocktail sauce inside with shrimp and i fried up some Molokai sweet potato chips. yum :)

This is Brandons dish. It was delicious! House made mozzarella which i thought was pretty cool.   

Im not sure what this was but its really pretty!

Week one was pretty cool. 4 long days for orientation and got paid for it, not too shabby. Then i was in the kitchen for 3 days in Garde manger cold banquet kitchen. Chef Feitosa in Garde Manger is really nice. He showed me around the kitchens and took me to the garden the ritz has on site. Its huge and amazing! It has everything from Lilikoi to guava to thai basil and little baby pineapples! Its truly amazing to be working here at The Ritz Carlton.
